I agree with all the other comments about your wonderful use of imagery. However, your story ended a little too abruptly, too soon than I was ready for, which seems a little dissappointing. But great story overall. I especially like your combination of past and present issues, namely the Haitian Massacre (forgive me for not being more knowledgable about this) and the death of a loved one. Keep up the good work hun and congratulations on your publication. I hope to see more from you.
